Computer Modeling

1. What is a computer model and what are the advantages?
    With a computer model you can test things out to see what
    would happen in real life. The advantage with a computer
     model is that you can see what would happen in real life
    and so you dont have to rrisk people's lives and money.

2. What sort of things could be modeled in the following situations?
     
      a) A hospital: you could see how many patients could fit in each room
     
      b) A supermarket: you can organize where each section of food can go.

      c) The police: how many police men to send to a scene, how many police dogs to send.

Building a bridge to withstand an earthquake

1. Would they use a model and why?
     They would use a model for testing things

2. What would be the variable of the model?
       They would be able to see if the bridge would be safe.

3.What predictions could you make based on the model?
    changing the shape, the support...

Project 1 Review

1. The importance of technology in my life is very important to me its were i socialize and talk with my friends. Technology has even helped me in becoming closer with my friends. So, I would say that ta=echnology has had a positive effect in my life. 2. I wasn't to pleased with my final product of my digital story... i came across a couple problems like... i couldn't put some pictures i found on the internet in my story (using imovie). If i had more time i would deffinetly add a lot more like me usiong skype and so on... 3. In my own opinion i think that the upside in living in the digital world is that like me you could get closer with friends and possibly family. The downside is that some people "overdose" with technology and stray to far from the real world and that can be bad....

Digital Media Use

I have noticed that the intenet and digital media is a big part of our lives. But we must learn how to control how much to use and not to stray so far off into our digital lives. Our physical conection with talking to people because talking to people through a social networking site, or texting is easier than talking to them in person. Although to much digital media can be bad it can be a good thing if you know how to use it. I relise that i have to get into the digital life a bit more.
